Party on a Stormy Weather 0
Have you ever tried an outdoor activity on a heavy storm? Have you ever thought of trying one? Well, me and my friends in high school had just experienced a very extreme activity of our life. You want to know the story? Well, here it goes.
It was the 23rd birthday of my best friend, and I wanted to surprise her by preparing a pool party. I was the one who paid for the food while they just paid for the entrance to the pool. So we already set a date. I bought all the needed stuff for her birthday. Just so it happened that a storm was coming on that week. Some of our classmates backed out since they were afraid of the storm. However, six brave men and women, us, wanted to experience the feeling of a pool party during a storm.
So when we went to the area, in Talisay, the place was flooded. But we still paid for the entrance. The entrance was very affordable, only fifty pesos. The manager just made us use any cottage we like since we were the only customers. They were even shocked that they have customers on that day.
We were the only people using the area. The pool was inside a compound, by the sea. So we can see the big waves coming for us. The trees are swaying wildly due to the gusty wind. There was also slightly to moderate rainfall. But instead of losing hope, we enjoyed the party.
Just for the heck of experiencing the big waves, we went near by the sea wall. We stood by each other and held hands so that when the big waves come, we will not fall.
Everyone’s laughter was all over the place—partly shaky, partly cold. Just imagine how cold we felt. One of my classmates had the biggest laugh. Her shrieks were the loudest. We played games, eat a lot of food and sang a birthday song to our dear friend.
The weather calmed down after four hours. We packed our things and decided to go home. It was the adventure of a lifetime!
