El Nido Palawan – Turn your Holiday into a Distinctive Lifestyle 0
Palawan is a long strip of land that is visible to the left side of the Philippine map. I personally think that this is probably the most beautiful island in the entire country. It is a place of natural wonders while Palawan’s capital, Puerto Princesa, boasts the greatest degree of the effective solid waste management program throughout the whole nation.
The people are so cooperative in fulfilling the ecological awareness campaign envisioned by the local government of Palawan. Palawan’s forte is ecotourism and it is proud to have two UNESCO heritage sites, the Tubbataha Reefs National Park located in the Municipality of Cagayancillio and the Puerto-Princesa Subterranean River National Park. But the rest of this paradise island is yet to be unveiled.
We particularly set a trip going to the beach of Palawan, located in the municipality of El Nido at the northwestern tip of the island. We arrived at the El Nido Resorts one sunny morning and the sky was all blue and all the sound we can hear was the ocean breeze and the waves that crush to the shore.
Both sides of the resort where cliffs forming some sort of lagoon and there were more cliffy mountains emerging from the waters further away to the ocean. However, the beach, the beauty of the entire place as a whole was so magnificent, like what other people say “its too good to be true”. I’ve seen no other place in this world as beautiful as this.
If Palawan is a paradise, then El Nido would be “the paradise of a paradise” or maybe “the heart of the paradise”. Another thing I liked about the location was that it was isolated, away from all the stresses of the big cities and the pollution too. Even though El Nido tried to develop the place to assimilate it from technology, I was never bored at staring the blue skies and the horizon.
However, you will not be totally cut out from civilization because they have cell phone signals and wireless facility spots in their restaurants. They offer accommodations in forests while the best ones are the ocean cottages, which were seated at the foot of the cliff but stands just above water level. The resort also offers scuba diving packages and climbing opportunities. You can even rent a canoe and explore the entire paradise and see other sights and views that others would even die for. There were also a few couples having their honeymoon while the majority of the tourists coming, here are bound to witness this one-in-a-million attraction.
