Don’t despair because summer days are gone, as you can have just as much fun in autumn if you select your travel destination carefully. For somebody coming here from New York City, it is like traveling abroad to an English-speaking country which tries its best to make you feel like home.
There is nothing wrong with choosing Las Vegas Area or another popular tourist destination, but for gay people, San Francisco, Castro Area remains the hot spot for entertainment. The truth is that the excellent hotels and restaurants, the amazing setting and the sheer beauty of the city are good arguments for any tourist, no matter of sexual orientation. Still, this is the place that gay tourists will enjoy most, because the community is friendlier than anywhere else and there are endless opportunities to have fun.
The Pride might be over, but this doesn’t mean that the city hibernates until the next event or that the coffee shops and gay bars are deserted. Quite the opposite, tourists and locals are having a great time, and they are not going to dwell into the past, but enjoy the numerous festivals and celebrations that take place each week. If there is one thing that you can’t do in San Francisco, Castro Area, it is to get bored, because each day spent here will bring something new and exciting.
